Welcome to the PJ Ramirez Foundation website

This website is dedicated to the memory of Parker James Ramirez (PJ) and to help us celebrate PJ’s short but meaningful life.  Our family has both been overwhelmed and blessed by the love and support of the community during our very difficult time.  Parker would be so pleased with all the attention that has been showered upon his memory.  Even though he was a caring, thoughtful, humble young man, at the end of the day, Parker’s favorite thing to talk about was, Parker.  If he was here and I told him all these people had done all these things in support of his memory, he would have one thing to say, “cool”.

PJ was a beloved and incredibly generous boy who left us far too soon, but thanks in part to the support and generosity of individuals, businesses and community leaders, his legacy will live on.  We are very humbled and pleased to share that, through bidding on silent auction baskets, sales of raffle tickets, and ticket sales for the 1st Annual Memorial golf tournament and luncheon, over $25,000 was raised in his honor.

The Parker James Ramirez Foundation has been using these funds to help families in need, and to support special projects in our community, such as improvements to the Mission Viejo Youth Athletic Fields, that were near and dear to PJ’s generous heart.   In addition, due in part to the success of this event, we have applied and are close to receiving for our federal 501(c)3 status as a non-profit organization.

Though our hearts will always ache with the loss of PJ, your ongoing generosity honors his giving spirit.  The foundation is an all-volunteer organization, and all funds raised in his memory will be used for outreach to families in our community who are in need, and to support special projects that will benefit our city.  We appreciate your kindness and your efforts to help us ensure that PJ’s legacy will live on.
